Keel
Keel clearance
Lowest point of a ship from which the frame work is built up.
Minimum distance between the bottom of a ship and the bed of a
river or sea required by some authorities for safety navigation.
Also referred to as “underkeel clearance”.
The absolute and dynamic viscosity of fuel oils supplied to ships
indicated in centistokes (Cst) unit.
Kinematic viscosity
Knot
Measure of speed of a ship equivalent to one nautical mile.
